Although I'm new to the MM Forum, which came highly recommended BTW, I'm not new to muzzleloading revolvers or rifles. I began casting round balls for a 1851 Navy Colt replica in 1970 and have continued to cast for both ML and metallic cartridge arms. I belong to both the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association and the Cast Bullet Association and often post on the [email protected] board using the screen name, Maven. Last May I purchased an inline rifle to round out my muzzle loading experience (have caplocks and a flintlock) and to use to experiment with conical and roundball loads using loose black powder (FFg).
