Well it looks like I have been bitten by the black powder bug  and hard. Bought a 54 TC Hawken earlier in the spring to play with and have added a Lyman Great Plains Rifle and Pistol 54 and a TC Cherokee in 36 cal. Love shooting PRB at the local matches. May try hunting with one of the 54's next year.

It is an addictive hobby! I'm already looking on to my next built

When you burn out and get tired of black powder (Heaven forbid), sell me the Cherokee.  :Shh:

You know, for being "out of  print" for quite a while, those old Thompson sure hold the money. GPR are right up there also. Gotum both and loveum .I'm a poor man, gotta be content with what I have, just have to dream about the higher end stuff.

Traded for another T/C Hawken in .45 a few years ago. Found a .50 barrel when I was moving last year. Couldn't remember why I had a barrel and no gun.
I still haven't swapped it over to see how it shoots. There's always something more to look forward to.
