How about a patched homemade bullet ...
I just made 4 in my new boat anchor mold...

The bullets looks wavy like the mold was not hot enough.
..more heat on the next rounds..

The diameter is .493...just right for a patch and a leather wad..now must find time to lob them at something.

The weight is around 243 grains ,that is a 295gr. powerbelt and some .490 balls

I have heard about that ,,cigarette papers i believe.
I could try many ways , and if they do not fly good i will make them longer and heavier

My slow twist or should i say my only twist is 1:48, with deep grooves..

I have seen some real old war bullets that a friend recovered ,He is a cival war buff and looks like General Lee..

Some of them bullets are quite long..and fatties.. I bet some of them weighed 500gr or more

could be worth a try!

.493 with a .010/.015 patch may do decently. Cigarette paper patch could do good as well

I already do not like the bullet and i have modified the mold, the 4 i just made will be melted back down .

The new bullet will be more modern shaped .. or shall i say cival war shaped .
a nice tip that tapers slowly into the shoulder...More like an aerotip powerbelt

The one in the picture reminded me of a lincoln log..
I do not want to shoot lincoln logs..
