Pyrodex OR 777

My second year mlding , TC OMEGA open sights...
Is there a diff between the two??? Ive been shooting TC shockwaves 250gr w 150 grns of 777 pelets. My buddy says pyrodex burns hotter is he right.

Actually Triple Se7en burns hotter. But the thing to consider is accuracy and clean up. Pellets are supposed to be equal in strength between teh two powders. Triple Se7en does create crud rings in some rifles. Whether it will happen in yours you would just have to shoot it to see. If your having good accuracy with your current load, stick to it. And then in the off season, play with the other powders and see what you think.
