A buddy of mine brought me a rifle to do a trigger job on. The rifle was custom built and is a very nice rifle.
The trigger was at 2.5 pounds with an awful long 1/4 mile of dirt road creep.
I took it apart and found some gritty build up on the sear and the trigger. I cleaned and polished both. Then I polished the where the sear and the bolt come together, that had not been done. The sear engagement had a ridge I took off on the sear and polished. The trigger looked good.
It all went well. I left it at 2.5 pounds but it has no dirt road creep, nice a crisp.
Does any one know who built this trigger? The sear has a D in a circle. The side in the picture looks like a V but its actually a triangle.
I have Googled it but I couldn't find it.
