Thanks,,,I've had the10x40 before,,I sold it to a friend,,great scope for the money

Seriously that scope is very impressive for sub $200. Quite a few guys have posted they put them on MLs/SMLs and i havent heard of one that was trashed. Glass is fine, eye box is nice and the BDC version is not overly done. Its weight is even reasonable. Its more or less a Viper in a 1" tube but whatever they did its more reliable from what im seeing than most Vipers.

Another heads up....Meopta released the new MeoSport R in a 3-15x50. Looks good except the illumination adjustment is HUGE. Its only about $450 anywhere. I would suggest Cameraland if anyone want to try one......Doug is very customer service oriented and his pricing is really good too.

Lots of features in this scope and the reticle is kinda cool too. Both turrets are ,short, locking and exposed. Comes with rings but they are crazy tall.

I would love this scope in a German #4 type reticle and no illumination.

Finally got to open and play with the Diamondback hp. This is an awesome scope. I really love that i can adjust focus for wearing my glasses or not wearing them. Huge eye relief compared to everything else that i own. Pretty excited to get it mounted on the Patriot, hoping i can do it sometime today.

I sure like mine and optically its way above its price point. Im keeping mine just to swap out for hunting because i save close to 6oz vs my other scopes and give up very little.

The older I get the more the German #4 appeals, especially in low light. Doug it a really good guy.

My Razor HD LH has a variation on the #4 and its grown on me a lot. Meopta offers 1-2 variations and a straight up #4 if im not mistaken. Seems like a great way to get the price down on that MeoSport. Drop the illumination and add one of the more basic reticles they already offer in other scopes. They could probably shave $50 or more off the cost.

Keep an eye out on SWFA if you wanted a 6x42 SS. A couple guys posted recently they got shipping confirmation on back orders. The 6x42 and 3-9x42 HD FFP have been back ordered a LONG time.
