I have a budget of $300 to maybe $400 for a scope for my CVA Scout SML conversion when I get it back from Jeff. I want a scope that will utilize the increased velocity/range of the rifle but I don't want to take, away from the rifle's light weight and handling. Any recommendations on what I could look at?

I'm looking at Opticsplanet.com and they have a Crimson Trace 3-12x42 on sale for $435 and I think I can get $40 off that but not sure the quality of them.

What a difference in price!
Well opticsplanet.com did have a $40 off a $250 or more purchase but that would have only brought it down to $395. Crimson Trace hasv hem on sale from the original price of $353 down to $180. Can't beat that price so I had no choice because of my PhD in emptying pockets!
