Shoot with ramrod in or out?

I always shoot with the ram rod out, like others have said don't know if it makes any difference. I started doing it when I would go to the range and leave it on the bench and didn't want anything to be different in the field. Also my first Omega would bounce the rod loose in the thimbles and became afraid after a shot I would be in the stand and the rod on the ground! :mrgreen:

I usually shoot with it out at the range when I shoot from a bench. Then I shoot with it in just before season when shooting from sticks. Shot about the same at 100 yds and a little lower at 200 yds....but, the weather was also considerably cooler right before the season.
