I size each bullet to meet a certain loading force, which is generally 9# or so in a clean barrel.
Each bullet is run through the die 5 times. The 5th time is where I want the force to be 9#.
That said, I wanted to check a few bullets that I had sized up last April, prior to the Atterbury 1K match.
The 350gr XLD's remained sized with no spring back. I tested a number of bullets, and all met the 9# force as back in April.
Apparently, a little extra work in the beginning pays off.
