Trouble with Triumph Speed Breech

I had to duy a new breech plug for my Triumph due to the rings that prevent blow by breaking apart. The rubber gasket in the back was fine. The rings that broke apppeared to be metal of some type. I believe there are three of them about a third of the way from the end of the plug.
Has anyone else had this problem?

i've never had that problem but if you mail that BP to tc,i'll bet they will send you another.with your new one i'd suggest a tiny bit of oil on the rings as they are not stainless.....karl
