It's my understanding from a CO that smokeless IS legal north of the rifle boundry, in the regular season. Not legal in the shotgun zone or during the muzzleloading season.
MI likes to keep their regulations very simple to understand :shock:

Smokeless is not legal in MA at this time for muzzleloaders. Pretty much everything else is ok, though - no restrictions on sights, priming method, etc.

Smokeless and scoped muzzleloaders in KS not legal during muzzleloader season can be used during firearm season though. (unless something changed recently)
