I was at Gander Mtn the other day & they have 4 boxes of the discontinued .450 Power Punch bullets. I know they weren't designed for a sabot, but at .450 they will need one in a 45 or a 50 rifle. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these bullets & if anyone ever found or used a sabot on them. I just can't resist playing

the power punch bullets were pretty heavy, may not stabilize with the 1:28 twist? But other than that, i dont see why not.

You are correct. 380 grains & a very long bullet too. You may be right, it may not stabilize, but I guess there is only one way to find out :D
