the break down of what it cost me and what it has saved me to cast
lee molds- I have 4 I bought at $20 a piece (3 i traded goods for)
equipment - ranging from $.50 to $40
sizers - $16 per (have two)
lead - from free to $24
what it saved me
bullets from pb to barnes. $8 to $50(12 to 100 pks)
round balls $12 per 100
conicals 20 per 20
for every pound of lead I can make 7000grs of bullets (mold that throws an 313gr bullet is 22 bullets pound)
taking scrap metals to recyclers will make me money. steel and iron to copper jackets. saving zinc wheel weight and selling them to cannon guys
all and all, I maybe making money doing it :cheers:
