I take vitamins and supplements including calcium and magnesium.  I guess every little bit helps.

all the things one does is like spokes in the wheel of survival. ive been reading about the medical marijuana aspect and it looks very good. it needs to be legal every wheres for those who need it.  i use red table wine when i take my supplements, it helps get them into my system and helps me walk better.

I agree with you on marijuana and red wine.  I use to drink a glass of red wine every evening, but stopped due to the methotrexate.  I still drink a glass every Sunday when we eat dinner.  I use to cook every day but now can only cook once a week.  And I love red wine especially chianti.

According to a Specialist I can't have Alcohol or Caffeine. Well haven't had Alcohol but kept my Coffee. All  of a  sudden I'm having trouble with it so it is out.

Life without coffee is like life without....well...life!  I drink a cup or two of tea every evening but in the morning I have to have coffee so I won't be likely to kill anything.  :lol!:

Now, I do take a bit of bourbon or rye a time or two a week in the evenings; right now it's all I have to help the pain.   And, well, I like both of them, too.

Damn, went from a mild drunk to a grump with changing drinks "oneshot"....

Now what, what's next - mood changes .... Cigars to a pipe ???  :Beating Muley:  :blah:  Good luck ...

I don't know about the rest of you but at this stage of my career, caffeine is just a mild sedative.

Ok for some reason for weeks my mouth and throat seem on fire. Cut everything out. Now I'm thinking might be Oak Pollen.

Suppose to see my regular Doctor in couple days then couple days later have Scope run down my throat.

Pollen makes my throat feel like I'm swallowing steel wool; you ain't alone.

The Oak Pollen is causing me misery here as well.  Basically I'm just staying indoors and if I have to be out for any length of time I'm wearing a mask.

Ok went to Doctors other Biopsy everything seems good.

As far as Coffee and Alcohol goes my regular Doctor says moderation. So no more 3 pots of Coffee a day and Fifth of Jack. Oh at one time I was smoking 3 packs a day and dipping SKOAL.

Ok feeling good. Last night I got to thinking do 3 hours more a week. Stepper and Weights.

Woke up my mind was changed. I was on major pain. Talked with my wife, she says I'm doing plenty if I try more it will put me back down to where I'll be able to do nothing once again.

I'm so used to a lifetime of extreme training that I'll still push it and pay for it later.  You'd think I'd learn.  It has kept me out of a wheelchair so far; but I still need one when we go anywhere a lot of walking is required.  Things like zoos, parks, tours, etc, force me to use a wheelchair unless I want to be at it all day.

My wife beat the crap out of me thinking of a Wheelchair.

One time I had no choice and she was so mean to me.

Well, I've always liked my women the way I liked my coffee; cold and bitter.

Always tell my wife I like Cherry Mash. Dark on the outside, pink in the center and sweeeeeet!
