These are pictures of a doe I took with my Disc Extreme MHC in Cabell Co during WV gun season. Components were a .430 300 grain Hornady XTP, Harvester green CR, Blackhorn 209 65 gn WEIGHT and NFPJ conversion with Remington STS primer. I was impressed with this combo.

Those 300 grn XTP's are great, especially the .430 imo. Good job.

Thanks for showing those pictures i like to see how the bullet performs. I am also using the same bullet with good success.

cant ask for more out of a load.

congrats on the doe!

way to go.. that is a nice doe. Good eating there.

I shoot that exact same load only I shoot Pyrodex P in 100 grain load. Its good to know that it will work just fine..

Thanks guys, I would like to add- this produced one of the best blood trails I have ever had ( rifle, bow or muzzleloader). This was the reason I was wanting to try the 300 grain and it did not disappoint!
