Got an order of the new Hornady 250 FTX(.452?), 265 FTX (.430?) and 325 FTX (.458). I like the looks of the 265FTX. Seems like it would have a good B.C. The Optima seemed to like it as well. My Omega shoots under MOA with 200 SW so these bullets will have shoot a little better. I think Hornady said the 200 gr .40 sst will be beefed up but won?t be available for a couple of months.

Thanks for the report. I have been wondering about that 265 grn/.430 FTX. I have not had much luck shooting the Hornady .430/265 grn FP that is made for the .444 in my Omegas, but I think I will try the 265 FTX.
I'd love to find a nice "mid-weight" bullet to shoot.

I don't have my order of .430 FTX 265 grains yet but I would expect them to shoot better with the 110 grain, 120 grain charge weights of BH 209. Interesting report. Thanks

Ahhhh the bergara barrel out shoots the "compitition" :poke:

BB- You should pick up a supply of mmp-12 sabots and the .451 240gr and 300gr Mag XTP's. These shot awesome in a cva optima i had a while back.

I have had better accuracy with most bullets at 110gr + With BH also. Lee

Thanks for the report!

I really like your colored bullet holes! Good idea!

FG - I'll have to give it a try I have all those bullets and sabots, also thanks for the info -I will go up to 110-120 and give that a try.
