I shortened the 4 band .032 and connected the front bands.

I think the bullet needs more front weight.

Only lost about 15 grains,

I shot 1-3 at noon and 4-6 at about 5pm.
The rifle has a .500 bore with a 1-30 twist.
The bullets are sized .501, they load a little stiff.
1 and 4 are first shots.
I cleaned the bore and wiped with alcohol, and in 5 hours there was rust in the bore.
I cleaned it with more alcohol and wiped dry and loaded.
Any way, the dirty barrel is better than wiping between shots.
Needs more testing
