How many of you remember the John Cash 57 58 59 Automobile song?

This is a project that started out with left over parts and pieces from other projects. Hence the name Franken Fugly.

The barrel is a rifled .62 cal 1 in 72 twist. The barrel started off at 48" x 1-1/8" across tha flats. 27" was cut off for another project. So we were left over with a 21" barrel, originally I was planning on making a pistol out of it. But I had extra parts to put a rifle together. Look closely at muzzle the runout is done to the top side.

The barrel was finished with a baked on finish that brownells was selling 15 to 17 years ago. The Hopkins and Allen action was paintedin a hammerite finish. Comes with a Williams peep sight and a fine front bead.

For all the black powder purists are going to say the barrel is too short to hunt with. I will argue with them. And so will 1 antelope, 2, whitetail and 3 Elk that would totally disagree with you.

With .610 round ball with 120 grains 2f T777 that leave the muzzle at over 1600 FPS.

Asking $350.00 Shipped, no shipping to California

I have had to many issues with shipping sporting equipment to California. Nothing personal. Just 1 too many headaches

Ah, ok. I guess it's best as I just ordered a new 500i saw and better watch my nickles.
But an underhammer would've been great for this lefty. ;)
