Anyone know anything about these, good or bad?

Can't speak to that particular model. Burris scopes are good quality.
I have an older model Timberline 4x20 mm mounted on my CVA Optima pistol.
Good glass, been holding zero quite well, even after spending time on a 12 gauge slug gun.

I used a FFE1 3-9 on my muzzleloader last year. For a budget scope, I was happy enough with the low light performance. As a budget hunting scope, you could do a lot worse.
