Hi, I'm Mark and I've shot breechloaders( Hi Mark). A few years ago I became an exclusive muzzleloader hunter. However, the past 2 years I've dabbled in breechloaders ( GASP). I've had varying levels of success, but nothing to compare to what I've had with muzzleloaders. Took my Black Diamond XR .50 ( blued / walnut) to the range today, the first time since 8 Nov. 2010... ( shame shame), and shot some of my best groups ever, including 3 into 3/16 inch at 100 ( happy accident!) The load is a 250 gr 45 cal Hornady XTP, 70gr of Swiss 3f black lit by a CCI 6 petal musket cap on a single port T/C nipple. Velocity 1550 fps chrono'd. I'm glad my 'Diamond waited until i came to my senses.

I have a Black Diamond XR .50 and I have to agree... it is a very accurate rifle.
