Looking for a good quality small flashlight for getting in or out of the woods when dark. Have tried a few cheapies over the years and always been let down.
I thought about the green light but don't know if I'll be able to see well enough. A few years back my cousin fell in a hole in the ground and got a bad sprain. I'm sure at my age that would be no fun.I have been using these for years and they work great. I use the green going in and coming out and it really hasn't spooked deer. Can use white for blood trailing or detailed work, espeially when working on my truck. Hands free.

Sam’s club at least by me has themI usually judge a flashlight by lumens. More the better. I like one that's about 500.
Thanks for the tip on the flashlight. That's exactly what I ordered on Amazon. Small with carry pouch so can wear on my belt.I am an admitted flashlight junkie. I’ve had everything from surefires to streamlights but my favorite is this one by far!

I really like my headlamps tho and this one has been really great. (Price has double since I got it in 2015) but it still works great and I use it for chores and hunting.

That's a nice feature. I don't want a really bright light. Just enough to see things on the ground and what's directly in front of me.Great ! You will like it. Having all the different brightness settings that easily accessible is a great feature that comes in handy.
