Hello from Lincoln Nebraska. I am recently new to muzzle loading. My boys an I have one optima CVA. This season was our first season of muzzleloading. My son shot his first doe, and Buck with it and I have shot my biggest buck ever this year. I also bow hunt and sometimes pick up a high power.

Welcome to the forum. The Optima is a popular rifle but I think the Accura is starting to gain or has over run the popularity it had. From all I have read on them, they are a good shooting rifle. You will find that the muzzleloaders have a way of getting under your skin and becoming very much a part of your hunting experience.
