Not sure what went wrong with CCI primers

Used them all summer o practice then this past Thursday I had three different shots at does and all three of the CCI primers I had failed to go off.
Went and got some Fusion primers and shot a doe at 80 yards.
Any idea what went wrong>

Well that is strange that the CCI did not ignite. I would be testing them at a later date to see why they would not work...

Primer going off or not, I'm envious, at least you got your doe. I've been out three days in a row in lower Wisconsin and haven't even seen a deer. Tracks yes but haven't seen one. Looks like the hunting pressure got so high they went nocturnal. Even tried bargeing around the low thicket areas to get one out of bed... nothing.. :?
