I am shooting black horn 209 ,75 and 77 grains on scale with hornady set 250 grn and hornady 240xtp the best group is 2.50 - 3.00 at 100 yards this is going to kill any deer out there but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated to tighten up group THANKS

I’m sure you’ll get lots of advice. Lots of small things could be the issue. But I think it will simply come down to trying a different bullet and/or a different charge. Have you tried more powder? My tc Omegas all shoot really well with 100-110 grV of BH209 and 300 grain TC shockwaves. The 250 gr bullets never shot as well for me. The Impact has the same barrel I presume - 26” 1-28 twist.

My Impacts like at least 105 grains[v] of BH209 with any bullet at or over 240 grains. Sub-1" groups at 100. Any lighter on the charge and things head south fast. The groups hold together until about 115 grains [v] is reached, then again, they accuracy heads downhill in a hurry.

I get 1" groups with 90 grsV BH209, 250 xtp's with a Harvester black crushed rib sabot. I have not tried more 209 yet.

I get 1" groups with 80grsV T7/FFF, 240 xtp's with Harvester green crushed rub sabot.
