GATOR-EYE, The HPH 24's have thinner petals, than the HPH12's. Some sabots are (High pressure) HPH,and some aren't. There are long sabots, for long bullets, like 300gr. and short sabots for short bullets, like 240gr. There are crush rib sabots, two petal sabots, black, blue, green, red, ect. What works in one gun,may not work in another! You have to try them and see,how they shoot, load, ect. Now there are two routes to take! 1. Buy a cheap gun, then all the diffrent componets,to try out in it. Powders, bullets, sabots, primers, ect. Now if you payed 300.00 or less, for your gun, figure on spending at LEAST, that much or more on all the diffrent componets.
Through trial, and error (and allot of range time) you will find the load that your gun likes!
Then if it dosen't shoot up to your expectations (3 inches@100yds) you can sell it and buy a better gun. (you already have every, bullet, powder, sabot, and primer on the market) and your good to go! Ron
