Had trouble seeing the open sights on my conventional muzzleloaders. Ordered a Williams Fool Proof tang peep sight for the .54 caliber New Englander. Re-contoured the sight base to fit the curved tang of the New Englander. Bent the hammer to clear the sight.
The sight picture is very clear. First warm calm day i'll take the gun to my range in Garvin county and sight it in.
