CVA Optima V2 with the finger tight screw out breech plug. The thing I hate most about this gun is cleaning the grease off the breech plug and out of the thread on the bottom of the barrel. I'm also always worried that the grease will get into the barrel. And if I don't get it all cleaned out...

Is it ok to practice trigger control by dry firing my CVA Optima V2? I want to know if I will damage the firing pin or any other components by cocking the hammer and practicing trigger pull.

Don't have any special gear. Just got first MZ. Optima v2. Shooting Barnse spitfire mz 245g with 100g of 777 pellet. Less than 0.5" groups at 50 yards 3" high. Curious where I'd be at other ranges l like 100, 150,and 200.
