Nother new ‘smokepole’ - TC Renegade .50 perc
Couldn’t resist. She had me at “No longer available, hard to get up in Canada <img class="emojione" alt="" title=":flag_ca:" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/png/1f1e8-1f1e6.png?v=2.2.7"/> TC Factory Peep-sight”
It is a kit gun. Big K stamped into wood inside barrel channel and first digit in serial #
Plus the price was a no brainer @ $200 CDN. That’s pretty cheap up here in these parts.
She’s sits at the top of my Hawken percussions;
Top to bottom
TC Renegade 50
TC Hawken kit 50
*new* TC Hawken 54
Lyman Great Plains slow twist 54
And last is an original TC Hawken 54 re-barreled with .58 Green Mountain
Here she is with the rest of her Thompson Center family.
I only fired a test shot and was nowhere near zero but plans for a range day whenever it stops raining here.
Oh ya. I apologize for the dark pics. Power went out just as I set everything up.
