As Del pointed out, they have the POTIENTAL to produce a great rifle. But sadly to day..a Traditions muzzleloader was the absolute low point of my muzzleloading experience..

Lets not be too quick to judge Remington They have over a good no. of years produced very fine products for a decent price. They are still here ,unlike a lot of USA companies. There center fire rifles are as good or better than rifles costing twice as much and who has worn out a 870 pump? I know muzzle loading is a different game and their first attempt at it was ahead of its time, if only they had improved on it.
