I have barrel lugs that are not welded and am wondering if I can somehow get them welded. I suppose this has been asked before.

Bolt on’s? You should be able to go to any decent welder and have them TIG weld them on, without damage or distortion.

If that were me, I'd want to take it to someone that will heat the barrel up before welding to it then heating & cooling it afterwards. Its something that I'd have to insist on that they are certified for that. I would be pretty particular about who I let weld on my barrel, especially a ML barrel.
