Id be curious to what kind of accuracy was achieved at 2000 yds with 50 cal.Good job Jeff.
Just as an FYI - George Gibbs in the 1860’s hosted 2 matches at 2000yds. These were 50cal, 700gr over 150gr BP.
Also, our Percussion ML have around 140moa at 1000. Your 71moa will have a max height of just over 500” (42’) occurring at 1100yds - ironically this is almost identical height as our 530gr @ 1300fps loads.
Keep up the good work.
I've shot in quite a few 15 **** matches.They shot at a 6’x12’ square plate, I believe.
Best they could do was hitting it 9 or so times out of 15 shot match.
I believe your bullet drop of 110’ would be with a 100yds Zero.

If you have a 1000 yd zero, max height would be around 42’.

Regardless- it’s a long way..
Good job.
yes agree and if you study your drop chart will discover your trajectory was only 48.1 ft or there about above . 110 ft. is dropI have a 100 yd zero and target size was 18" round target basically moa at 1760 yds
Guess I need more schooling.
Bullet drops 1.9" from muzzle to my 100 yd zero then drops 1,308 to impact on target so total drop from muzzle to target 1,309.9"
109.19'
Good Stuff Jeff! I enjoyed your Video. It is AMAZING What these Smokeless Rigs will do, This SML of yours is SPANKING My .308 Win Centerfire BADLY! “Woody” is a SERIOUS Rig!!
I have shot lot’s n lots of Paper Patch Since my Beginning in Muzzleloading, But That Chase Patch is a Method i have never tried. I always felt that Chase Patch would be good for Bench/Target, i have spoken so years back, Just never got around to trying it
