Just added a coat of LMF to everything. Going to let it sit for a full day while i work on the stock. Tested the stain and its going to work nicely.

blah! damn lock plate i have to redo. some of the color case hardened crap is showing up again. Going to hit it with 150grit sand paper and then it will take nicely.

Barrel, tang, hammer and drum are finished. I am going to give them 2 days to darken and then wash them down and oil them.

Just finished sanding down the lock plate and put a coat of LMF on it.

I more than likely will do the same to the under rib as there are some places that just will not take.
