I haven’t shot pure lead in a many years. But Idaho L . had / has my interest peaked. I have the 45 & 50 cal Goulds hollow point pills ready with IL’s Nasa lube recipe ready to go.
Barrel will be 45’s - Knight Mountaineer and Discs. And a CVA MR 50 & Lym GPR.
So powder load recommendations for Bh209 or subs?
Use a veggie, wool or polywad OP.
Thanks,
GE

I’ve like the AC Gould bullet in a few of my original falling blocks and about 8 years ago - thought I’d try one in an in-line (Knight Disc Elite), because of the amount of lead displaced when running it thru a piece of barrel (pre-rifle) I decided to make my own mold to cast .451”.
My good friend now uses it as I continued with heavy conicals. Shoots better than the pre-rifled bullet.
We use 75gr Swiss or BH209w and we use a hard card wad.
Good luck

70grV with a 345ish grain Gould or conical.
Upto 80grV with anything larger.
.060 veggie or poly wad.
Size bullets between .001-.002 over lands if using BH209.
