Because people keep buying it. Its that simple. They have a huge demand. Until it starts sitting around, price will keep going up.
Not to much different than most everything else. I got to looking today and found that Folger's coffee made the container to hold 2.5oz less but guess what???Yep, the new normal. Same bottle that will hold a pound of any other powder only gets 8oz put in it.
This is something that most all manufacturers do. Overpackageing gives more eye appeal. Most people when buying don't think about that. It's like opening the family size bag of chips to find it's 1/3 chips, 2/3 air!!
Agreed. And most people think the super sized items of the same product are a better value, when most times they're not. My wife will ask me why I didn't buy the mega sized laundry detergent, instead opting for the regular bottle. I tell her to do the math per ounceThis is something that most all manufacturers do. Overpackageing gives more eye appeal. Most people when buying don't think about that.
Anyone know if the powder or even pellets go bad after a while? Or lose potency?
That is because they do their weight by weighting. Not by volume like most of us use. Yes they have been stiffing people for years now. Bunch of fud-puckersCrazy. After i opened it and realized it wasnt even a half jug i was kinda upset lol
Sounds good, myself i have to stop this addictive wanting. I really have enough of themI have a bunch of smokeless guns I can use
Like a 220 Swift for instance or 35 Whelen
there I go name dropping again
That's a great deal! My Walmart never stocks enough to have any clearance on it!
Heck of a deal!Have a good supply of BH209 but picked up 3 cans of Pyrodex this evening at Walmart, $5.19 a can
3500 grains divided by 100 per shot = 35 loads. $79.99 (Cabelas) divided by 35 = $2.28 per shot. Yeah, a bit expensive. And that doesn't include the Projectile and Primer/Cap.10 bucks per ounce, absolutely crazy and not worth it
